Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vellum ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Vellum is a reading tracker and insights application available on iPhone. A paid subscription ("Vellum Pro") unlocks full functionality. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Vellum.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Vellum Pro is offered as a monthly ($3.99/month) or yearly ($29.99/year) subscription billed through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the "Manage subscription" link in your dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, interfering with the service, reverse-engineering the App, or using the App for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code comprising Vellum are owned by Vellum and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your reading data belongs to you.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@vellumread.com.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Vellum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vellum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.
